Our Strategic Vision
In partnership with our students, their families and the community, the vision of the School District of Altoona is to build a foundation for life-long learning and the emotional well-being of our students as we offer "large school opportunities with a small school approach" on our unique single campus setting.
March 2011 School Perceptions Survey Results
To assist in understanding the issues surrounding the lack of support for the referendum, a survey was created in collaboration with the students from the INGMT-750 Organizational Development Course and Dr. Kersten, University Of Wisconsin, Stout. This survey consisted of both qualitative and quantitative measures to gain the best insight into the views of the public. The audience selected for this survey was the parents and staff of the Altoona School District.

Alert! Be aware! The Altoona Athletic Boosters is the only organization that produces a "sports calendar" or poster to promote our athletic events. If your business has been contacted to buy advertising by any company or organization other than the Altoona Athletic Boosters, you may have been "scammed." These companies operate under names like Athletic Boosters Inc. or Sport Media. In August, Sports Media fraudulently "sold an ad" in the amount of $139 to a local business - supposedly for an 2010/11 Winter Sports Poster for Altoona High School.
